The importance of introducing children to photography from an early age cannot be overstated. In fact, it was at his secondary school, which had a black and white laboratory, that Alexandre Fauve came into contact with photography and developed a taste for it. I knew then that this was the profession I wanted to pursue," he explains, "so naturally I went on to study photography in Paris. His grandmother was also a source of inspiration: a seamstress by trade, she often welcomed him into her workshop. It was here that he drew his taste for fashion and design... influences that can be seen in his photos today. Wielding technique as well as art, he chooses to insert wild animals into the interiors of the most luxurious villas to, he says, "explore the relationship between society, nature and fashion."All with a dash of humor, of course!
